Literary delight

I was delighted to stumble upon this chalked declaration on a sidewalk downtown. While the movies are wonderful, I love the books. Perhaps it is J.R.R. Tolkien who still lives — in his writings. 🙂

    I didn’t do much today but…

    I did write about how people used to wear long underwear over winter or until we began to stink. You can find the link at the bottom of the post today.

    I read the hobbit and the LTR trilogy aloud to my kiddos one summer — it was wonderful –and I own the deluxe DVD set too.

  7. I’m glad you explained because I don’t follow the books or movies by Tolkien. However, everyone in the world most likely recognizes his name.
