ANDERSON DAILY PHOTO

1 Question Survey *Puleez Answer*

1. What do you think of when you think of Anderson, S.C.?

By vote of the City Daily Photo Web Ring, I must post a picture on February 1 that completes the statement, “When people think of my city, they think of _______.”

Help, neighbors, ex-pats, and interested parties! How do YOU fill in that blank? I’ve got my camera ready. 🙂

  2. HOME… a city that offers a family atmosphere. There is just so much we can do here. Everything is a short drive (Beach/mountains) We have Hartwell Lake for summer fun AND the cost of living is so affordable.

Some would say cotton… or Electric city… I say endless possibilities! Simple living with the luxuries…

Anderson is just simply the best town…

  3. I agree. I think of home. Lazy days on the lake, the lovely old houses around the college, the smell of honeysuckle and the warm sun on my face. Porchswings and sweet tea. People are polite and even strangers say hi. It’s a beautiful corner of the world.
I also have a bit of fear when I think of Anderson, because I get back home twice a year and every time there’s a new shopping centre or two (or 3 or 4). It’s growing and a lot of the growth isn’t nice (or necessary).

  4. I saw an advertisement once which was of a tall tree in Anderson. The caption read a high rise in Anderson. Since then that has been what I think of when reflecting on Anderson. That and of course a very talented photographer.
