Have I mentioned how much I enjoyed last Saturday’s neighborhood-wide yard sale? After we drooled over the flea market items in his front yard, Jeff kindly invited us into his backyard. I love his chandelier! He said it originally hung in a department store, and he found it on the side of the road weeks after the store re-decorated. The immense piece now has a rusty red patina. I love it in this silhouette against Jeff and Randy’s green yard. I tried to “fancy it up” with this shot. Do you like it? Or is this simpler shot better? I value your opinion.

I enjoy yard sales, too, and have found some good buys over the years…just don’t have time to hit them anymore. Retirement is just too busy!
I like the long shot best…a better composition I think especially with the chandelier hanging the way it is!
Excellent work!

Great shot and I love the one with the soft blurred background. Really focuses on the chandelier.

I like the simpler one better.
