Find that Chip

Filed under: Animals — lessie @ 6:29 am

Sorry about all the motion blurr on this shot. It was dark, they were, well, moving, you know. The precious furry one is a lost soul my roommate picked up and nicknamed Benji. We took him to the local vet and they scanned for a microchip to no avail. We made fliers. We gave him a realish name, decidely “scruffy” wouldn’t last the long haul. And that night April took Wally out to meet the neighborhood. Have you seen this dog? Turns out he lives a pretty far piece from us, across a busy four-lane road. So far we didn’t even put fliers in that area. He showed up because his owner used to live across the street from us. Weird, huh? And his real name? Scruffy. 🙂

  1. What a love and so glad you found his owner. He looks just like a Pyrenean Shepherd Dog – a small/medium breed you see a lot in France.

  4. What a good story! Nice photo, I don’t mind the blurr. People and animals do move. Personally, I’m thrilled that we can get such good pix in low light these days!
