Squeaky Clean

I was delighted to see M.J.’s pics of the Clydesdales “off duty.” The horses resided in a stable downtown, so their exercising and even washing was on view to the public. To wash the horses’ faces, a groom stood on a ladder. 🙂 Here, this baby is all clean. Thanks so much for the pic, M.J.!

The Clydesdales stayed in a rennovated stable on the corner of McDuffie and East Benson — a building constructed in the early 1900’s that originally sold horse and riding equipment. Pretty cool, huh? You can read more about the building and its owners here.

  1. Magnificent horses. This one looks so nice. They are also quite intelligent I think. Nice photography.
