Furry and Friendly

Filed under: Animals, Jockey Lot — lessie @ 6:12 am

Two things attracted my attention to this scene. One, the little girl petting the Lab. Isn’t she cute? And I love to see children interacting with animals. Secondly, the Sheltie…? I’m guessing she is a Shetland Shepdog and not a Collie. (I’m not the best dog detector. 🙂 ) Hope this pair has lots of fun together for years to come. Jockey Lot, from the archives.

  1. They are adorable. Actually the little one looks too big for a Sheltie – could she be a puppy collie? I’m guessing too!

  2. Hi Lessie, I’m pretty sure you’re right about this dog being a Sheltie. You can tell by its face. My Mom raises Shelties and Poodles. They are adorable dogs!
