New Spa Downtown

Filed under: Restaurants and Commerce — lessie @ 10:15 pm

Friday night Cathey and I went to the Christmas Tree lighting on the square. With all the lights on, Downtown looks exquisite. Seriously. Very cool.

We walked down East Benson, the street beside the historic courthouse. Cathey wanted to show me a cool new store that sells overstocked school supplies. (Hope to get some pics during the day.) Nearby is a newly redone brick front — housing a cool new day spa called The Spa at Lilia. The rennovated 1880 building is just lovely. Though it isn’t open yet, we could see through the window a water fountain splashing over a rock wall. The new wooden floor is set in an intricate pattern, lit by chandeliers, of course. My favorite is the rooftop. Spanning the top of the building, it will hold 100 people and is available to the public for parties and receptions. I want to see that view one day.

  1. Sounds delightful, especially the rock wall fountain. Don’t you just love the room scents that they use too?

The roof deck sounds like a fantastic place to have parties!
