Water Restrictions

Filed under: Hartwell Lake — lessie @ 1:30 pm

Broyles Recreation Center. With the cooler air and the recent rain, it no longer “feels” so dry. However, the drought goes on. The City of Anderson implemented mandatory water restrictions on September 29. You can read the press release here. The conservation measures are common sense ways to avoid wasting water and, in my opinion, not difficult to follow.

  1. The fact that you and I both are featuring drought related photos in our blogs speaks loudly of it’s severity and of it’s impact on the people of Anderson. The water restrictions are fairly easy to follow. LOL…Strangely enough though, I’ve had the urge to wash my filthy car ever since I discovered that I can’t. I wonder what changes we might have to make in the future should the situation not improve?
