Smelling the Yellowbell

Filed under: Spring & Summer — lessie @ 1:55 pm

Like Daffodils, this flowering bush is one of the first signs of Spring in Anderson. I grew up calling them Yellowbell, but lately my mother has changed to Forsythia, and I’ve had to follow suit. 😉 I like them best pruned naturally — as opposed to cropped into round balls. Another preference of my mom’s I’ve adopted. She’s the gardener; I just admire. 🙂

  2. What a sweet photo! I love forsythia (I like the name “yellowbells”, too!), and the dog looks a lot like our Daisy. 🙂

  3. Love the photo! Makes me smile…And reminds of the photo I posted of my Truffles smelling hibiscus.
