Sleeping soundly

Filed under: Jockey Lot — lessie @ 1:39 am

Cathey and I arrived at the Jockey Lot on this Saturday about 4:45ish. It had a different feel. The breeze was chilly, but not bone-chilling. The tables to the right in the above photo are normally “saved” by tarp and rope and even goods hidden beneath blankets. This day, table after table was bare. One or two people milled around at the far end, but at the Avon side, the only sign of those who normally “stalk” the prime outside tables was the above camper. A dark yellow electrical cord running from outlet to camper revealed that someone must be sleeping inside, waiting for the jockeying to begin.
