Today’s theme is “When people think of my city, they think of _____.” I asked readers to provide their input. Kara provided the first response with Hartwell Lake. There were others too — all of which I agree with. Pictures from other responses are here.

The lake looks good even in our drought. The cloudy sky provides the hope rain.

Thank you for mentioning me in your blog today. Lovely photo by the way. I may not comment everyday but I definitely visit your and Denton’s blog daily. I am thinking of starting my own, but I don’t think I could just concentrate on the city of Anderson because I like to take pictures of parks and waterfalls. I was wondering if there was somewhere I could go to start a regional photoblog. Thanks!! Have a great day!
