Corner Florist

Filed under: Restaurants and Commerce — lessie @ 1:11 am

Fant St. Florist, on the corner of River Street and Fant. A perfect location for a gas station — which, of course, it used to be. 🙂 The pink swath above the glass adds a nice splash of color almost distracting the viewer from the building’s original function.

The picture shows a glimpse of cars coming into town on River Street, which in the opposite direction leads toward Honea Path and Belton.

  2. Annie — good guess! It’s actually pronuonced “honey-uh.” I also feel more warm fuzzies toward that town b/c of its name!
