I was delighted with this pier! It reminds me of the beach. It’s located in Darwin Wright Park, Anderson. The water is Hartwell Lake. You can see to the lower right that the water is low, low. I wanted to walk on the pier — but Maggie flatly REFUSED. The unusual surface scared her. (She doesn’t even like walking on my mom’s hardwood floors — they are a darker than mine at home. And cleaner and shinier. 🙂 ) Additional pics are here.



  1. That is funny comparing your hardwood floors to your mother’s … Sad you did not get out on the pier however I’ll bet the perspective you selected is the best to share the scene with the world.
