I love this shot. It’s from Saturday’s baseball tryouts. The runner is sliding into third. Can’t wait until Saturday to see if more little fellas or gals are playing.

  1. A great slide and a great catch attempt. Don’t you love kids’ baseball?

  2. Your photo has peaked my interest in sports photography. I may buy a longer lens and try to catch some action … This photo does a great job of capturing the moment.

  3. Rambling Round — I do! (Or at least I’ve discovered I do! 🙂 )

Denton — Stumbling on these kids playing has made me want a longer lens too! Severe lens envy! 🙂 But until then, I will have to stick close to the fence. Spectators are so close, they are almost in danger of being hit by the ball!

  4. Lessie –
I LOVE baseball! I love watching it, cheering, playing — can’t play anymore, but occasionally I have treated myself to the batting cages out at Sweet Treats in Seneca! All your baseball pics were fun – the action/expressions/they caught the spirit for sure – and I smiled a lot perusing them — ahhhh….the love of the game!
