Handprint Fish

Filed under: Hooked on Arts — lessie @ 2:43 pm

The sign for this fish doesn’t indicate what group of children created this fish for Anderson — and it would be fun to know — but I like the idea of local children participating in the fish sculpture series. 🙂

This fish is located in the grounds of the Anderson Visitors and Convention Bureau, downtown.

  1. there’re some writings right below each print, the name of the children?
anyway, overall a great piece! my fave. has to be the red with black pokker dots print at the end :))

  2. Kris — I like that one too. I tried to take a picture where the children’s names couldn’t be seen (for security reasons, even though I don’t the children), but you’re exactly right, that’s what the writing is. 🙂

  4. A fish sculpture series is very appropriate for Anderson given your proximity to Lake Hartwell. A town near where I grew up in Texas has quarter horse sculptures. In Greenville we have mice sculptures.
