More rain please

Filed under: Animals, Hartwell Lake — lessie @ 4:21 am

Sadler’s Creek State Park. I’m cheating a bit. Sadler’s Creek is in western Anderson County, not the city of Anderson. But it’s a beautiful park with wonderful views of Hartwell Lake — and the county IS named Anderson. Maybe it counts?

I really enjoyed this visit with the dogs. Normally we can only walk to the edge of the trees (right of photo), but with the lake level so low, a red clay-based, rock-filled beach was revealed. Maggie (in the picture) and Lily had fun running up and down the shore.

  1. It’s simply beautiful. And thanks a lot for your support in our time of grief.
