I admit it. I want to take artsy fartsy pictures. This ain’t it. But I like it anyway — enough to post it…for its Jockey Lot flavor: outdoor wares, friendly salespeople (like the lady above) who actually approach you and help you find what you need. The picture is just outside Hellraisers, a pet store with really good prices. I was skeptical at first, but now a believer. (If only it weren’t so close to that infamous, nefarious, and depressing “puppy row”!)

I love that pet store! I was skeptical at first, too, but I was quickly won over by their low prices and large selection. I don’t shop anywhere else for pet supplies except there.
