
Like Daffodils, this flowering bush is one of the first signs of Spring in Anderson. I grew up calling them Yellowbell, but lately my mother has changed to Forsythia, and I’ve had to follow suit.
I like them best pruned naturally — as opposed to cropped into round balls. Another preference of my mom’s I’ve adopted. She’s the gardener; I just admire.
Spring and a dog – what more could one ask for?

What a sweet photo! I love forsythia (I like the name “yellowbells”, too!), and the dog looks a lot like our Daisy.
