Stained glass

Filed under: Details, Historic District, Markers, & Flags — lessie @ 6:22 pm

Early on a Saturday morning this summer, I noticed the light reflecting in the stained glass window panes of this beautiful home found on McDuffie. Though it’s almost obscured behind a large hedge and metal gate, the house’s exquisite detail still shines through. More pictures are here.

  1. Beautiful.. so sad that it looks so neglected. Makes me think of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.

  2. The stained glass is almost a lost art these days. There are lots of beginners who try it but would never be able to finish something as elegant as the house in your photography.
