
This is a photograph from my files. The Clemson Kennel Club hosted the above dog show in 2006 at the Anderson Fair Grounds. It was a WONDERFUL experience. I hope I see it advertized for this year so I can attend again. This sweet baby in the picture looked like a lab to me, but his owner said he is a Kuvasz, a type of European working dog.
He is a beauty and your photo is excellent.

Yes, I think it’s a Hungarian breed. But it resembles my golden retriever quite a bit…

The Kuvasz originates in Tibet. Many are from hungry and this strain may be but their origin is Tibet. I use to have a Kuvasz named Calla (white bread) She looked just like this kuvasz. A complete history can be found in the dog breed section of calmodogtraining.com
