looks pretty much like the rosebay willowherb we get here choking everything in its path.

Goats! We need to proliferate goats! Tie them up in every kudzu patch and let them denude the Southeast of that invasive species — but then — what to do with all the goats???

I like claire’s idea. Actually I have heard to cattle will control kudzu however that is not very practical for the front yard.
