I’m guessing this is an “old” motorcycle. Leatherheads is set around 1920 from what I understand. No, I didn’t put a “foot” in the parking lot! Security was a-patrolling.

Actually, the motorcycle is a replica of an early 1900s-era Indian V-twin motorcycle. There were three identical bikes designed and built by Customs By Eddie Paul in El Segundo, CA (one bike for filming and 2 back-ups). Cllooney requested a functional motorcycle butdid not want to use real V-twin Indians because they were too loud and unreliable. To allow the actors dialogue to be heard, the motorcycles are powered by a high-tech electric motor. The V-twin gas engine sounds are dubbed in.

That is so cool! Customs By Eddie Paul did a great job. Very interesting about the sound being dubbed back in later!
